Annual Clean, Oil & Adjust
- disassembly, cleaning and light polishing of the flute tubes and mechanism
- oil, regulate and adjust mechanism
- spring tension, key venting height and lost motion are adjusted
- replace pads as needed
- the remaining pads are leveled to play with a light touch and cleaned
- headjoint cork tested and replaced if needed
- significant dents removed, fit tenons as needed
- clean embouchure hole
- quality assurance play testing by accomplished flutist

Repad
(Only for flutes and piccolos that currently have Straubinger Pads installed.)
- disassembly, cleaning and light polishing of the flute tubes and mechanism

- install Straubinger Pads to play with a light touch, delrin pad retaining grommets are installed
- significant dents removed, fit tenons as needed
- spring tension, key venting height and lost motion are adjusted. Springs replaced if needed

- clean embouchure hole
- quality assurance play testing by accomplished flutist

Overhaul
- complete disassembly, cleaning and thorough polishing of the flute tubes and mechanism
- the mechanism is refit and oiled. the spring tension is adjusted, springs replaced if needed
- installation of new pads to play with a light touch, delrin pad retaining grommets are installed
- key felts and bumper corks replaced
- dents and scratches removed
- clean embouchure hole
- headjoint cork replaced & headjoint oiled (on piccolos)
- quality assurance play testing by accomplished flutist
